Step Forward is an innovative project which supports women who are unemployed or economically inactive. A project which compliments existing services available within My Sisters' House by providing a coaching, supportive role to women, enabling them to move forward with their lives.
Unlike many other 'back to work' focused projects, we offer an holistic, personallised service, looking at you and you life as a whole, not just getting you into a job.
You decicated keyworker will work with you to address the issues which stand between you and your ambitions, helping you break down these barriers, so that you can move forward in your choice of training, volunterring or paid employment
Once you have reached your goals, the Step Forward team will continue to be there for you, ensuring you have the ongoing support you need to suceed in your future.
Life - Helping you through any general problems you may have with money worries, anxiety, low self-esteem, disability, grief, or any of the many problems that could hold you back.
Work - To help you into your choice of work, volunteering or training. We can help you with all you need to reach this goal. Application writing, career direction, self-employment, CV and interview skills.
Future Proofing - Once you have achieved your goal, we can offer buddy support, periodic check-ins, coping plans for the unexpected problems and more.
