Step Forward Woman’s Group

For women who dream of something better
Every Monday
9:30 - 2:30
The Bognor Regis Food Bank

It’s a well known fact that the happiest, most fulfilled and successful people are those who are lucky enough to have a network of supportive people around them. This being the case, we are setting up a new women’s group. Our friendly group is there for women who are unemployed and want to set up their own business, get in to paid employment, voluntary or community work or education and training.

Women are free to drop in for coffee and conversation, meet new people, make new friends and just “be” in the company of others.

As well as this:

Our group gives you the opportunity to meet others from your area, network and get involved with your community.

Our Step Forward Key-workers can help you with goal setting and creating a step by step pathway to your success. We can help you stay motivated and support you if things get tough.

We have teamed up with Northbrook college and can now offer a range of courses including English and Maths.

Our fantastic self-esteem workshops can help you build the confidence and the self belief you need to be happy and successful in life.

Workshops and 1-2-1 business development coaching is available from author and entrepreneur Ali Golds. Ali specializes in supporting single mothers to be financially independent, by setting up their own businesses and becoming self employed.

We have a programme of guest speakers from the local community who can offer information and advice

We run a regular programme of fun social events and activities , such as trips out to the countryside, beauty days and craft activities.

We can support you with understanding your skills, writing a great CV and preparing for that interview.

We can set you up with volunteering and work experience opportunities.

We are not a back to work scheme! We are a group of women who believe that you are more likely to change your life for the better when you have the necessary tools at your disposal, the support of others and throw in a bit of fun for good measure.

Our group and the support on offer is free, so what do you have to lose? Pop in and see for yourself what we are all about.

And for the mothers among you, feel free to bring the kids to everything, we are 100% child friendly.

Quotes from the women’s group .

“Since joining I have gained confidence. I have started SHINE, a course which helps with self esteem and have been to a job fair with Sue. It’s given me hope, I feel empowered.” “It’s such a nice space. It’s got a great vibe and it’s a place I can come, have a coffee and escape.”
